RSI File Cabinet is an online utility
that offers a turnkey web solution
for document management. It provides
clients with the ability to manage,
organize, share and access their files
over the Internet. It is designed
to expedite communication and document
distribution across your organization.
By creating a repository for pertinent
documents using the online File Cabinet
"Explorer Tree", which operates
in much the same way that the Windows
Explorer does, the access and availability
to information online has never been
easier.
The File Cabinet
has three major functional areas;
Search, File Cabinet and System.
The Search component
allows clients the ability to quickly
locate the folders and the documents
they need by searching for items
using the various filters. This
utility can also be used to search
for topics and identify unfamiliar
terms.
The File Cabinet
component provides the client with
the ability to store and retrieve
documents by browsing the folders,
similar to Microsoft Windows Explorer.
As a File Cabinet Administrator,
you can easily set up folders, upload
documents, graphical elements, logos
and personalize text messages to
suit the needs of your institution.
You can then set up group access
to those folders so that others,
with authorization, will be able
to view, access and make use of
these files.

System component provides the administrator
with the ability to setup folder and
document level access, in addition
to customizing the Graphical User
Interface (GUI) and other administrative
tasks. Customizability of the File
Cabinet Utility is one of its key
assets. File Cabinet is a JAVA application
that provides an administrative interface
which allows for complete customization
of the (GUI). As a result of this
cutting edge technology, Internet
browsers capable of reading JAVA are
necessary. The minimum requirement
for the browsers and version numbers
for users of ResultSet's File Cabinet
are listed below.
